Klinkers, a Belgian speciality
Very common in Belgium, klinkers are paving bricks fired at high temperature. Attractive and strong, their slightly porous surface holds on to moss, especially in shaded, damp areas — ideal territory for our expertise.
The right pressure to make them shine
The secret of a beautiful clay paver is controlled pressure. We work at moderate pressure, after applying a moss treatment and keeping the right distance, to keep the brick smooth and slow moss coming back for the long term.
- moss treatment beforehand for a long-lasting result;
- controlled pressure washing;
- re-sanding of the joints (fine or polymeric sand).

Long-lasting protection
A water repellent applied once dry limits water absorption and slows the greening of clay pavers. Combined with careful re-sanding, it keeps your driveway crisp for much longer.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, but at moderate pressure and from a good distance: brick is porous and too strong a jet roughens it, which encourages moss to return. A moss treatment beforehand and re-sanding of the joints complete the job.
Yes, as with all paving: cleaning removes the old sand from the joints, which must be replaced to keep the paving stable. Polymeric sand also limits weed regrowth.
A water-repellent treatment after cleaning reduces water absorption and slows the greening. Regular maintenance and good joints complete the prevention, especially in shaded areas.
